“Taking it seriously, holding it lightly”
Clients describe me as a creative and pragmatic coach, with a solid theoretical background and a wealth of experience. In the conversation I incorporate systemic and body-oriented principles. It is not about changing into something that is not yet there, but about becoming firmer in who you already are. You feel that in your head (it ‘fits’ better), your body (it feels relaxed) and your actions (you do it in your own natural way).
I also pass on that conviction as Lead Trainer at the Worldwide MMS Institute, an international coach training with ICF PCC accreditation, where I earned my own PCC certification (see: Oaktreeme.com/mms-coach-training). In addition, I continuously follow masterclasses by leading coaches in the fields of leadership, systemic work/constellations and neuroscience & coaching — a curiosity that never stops.
My work as a coach builds on 25 years of experience as an (interim) manager and consultant, implementing complex change programmes in organisations at home and abroad (Europe, Brazil, the US). I know various sectors from the inside: consultancy, services, healthcare and (manufacturing) industry — that diversity of contexts creates a natural fit in coaching programmes.
Alongside my coaching work I teach NIA classes — a movement form that also nourishes my somatic way of working beyond my coaching practice. I am the mother of two working children, speak fluent English, French and Portuguese and love to sing jazz/Bossa Nova.
Music is a great source of inspiration: creativity, listening, moving along, daring to play, improvising and shaping. My clients recognise those same elements in the way I coach.
