Privacy statement

MSvS Coaching & Advies (“I”, “me” or “MSvS”), based in Laren, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 66527767, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement I explain which data I collect, why, and how I handle it, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Which data I collect
I may process the following personal data:
- Name, e-mail address and telephone number, when you contact me by e-mail or phone.
- Data you provide during an introductory conversation or a coaching, supervision or training programme (including any notes about the content of sessions).
- Invoice and payment details, as far as needed for the financial handling of a programme.
- Data collected automatically via my website (msvs.nl), such as IP address and visit behaviour, through the standard analytics functionality of the platform the website runs on.
2. Why I process this data
I use your data solely for the following purposes:
- Preparing, delivering and evaluating coaching, supervision and training programmes.
- Maintaining contact, scheduling appointments and answering questions.
- Drawing up and sending invoices and the financial administration.
- Complying with legal obligations, including the fiscal retention obligation.
- Gaining insight into the use of my website, in order to improve it.
I do not use your data for automated decision-making and do not sell it to third parties.
3. Online sessions
For online coaching, supervision or training sessions I use Zoom. In doing so, Zoom may process technical data (such as IP address and connection data), in accordance with Zoom’s privacy policy. I do not record sessions, unless this has been explicitly agreed with you in advance.
4. Confidentiality of session content
I treat the content of coaching, supervision and training sessions as strictly confidential, in accordance with the code of ethics of the International Coaching Federation. Any notes I make for the purpose of the guidance are not shared with third parties, including a possible client (for example an employer), without your explicit consent.
5. Retention period
I do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Financial data I keep in accordance with the statutory fiscal retention period of 7 years. Data relating to the content of coaching programmes I keep no longer than necessary for the delivery of the programme, after which it is deleted.
6. Sharing data with third parties
I only share your data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement (for example my bookkeeper, or the technology behind Zoom), or if I am legally obliged to do so. With parties that process data on my behalf I conclude a processing agreement where necessary.
7. Cookies and website data
My website runs on a platform that only uses standard analytical cookies to collect visitor statistics (such as the number of visitors and pages visited). I do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
8. Security
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including the use of secure connections and limiting access to your data to myself.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability. You can send a request to this effect to info@msvs.nl. I will respond within four weeks.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe that I do not handle your data correctly.
10. Changes
I may adjust this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version can always be consulted on msvs.nl.
